PSD2 Balancing strategic and compliance challenges, opportunities and risks.

For existing payment services providers the Payment Services Directive 2
(PSD2) first and foremost brings compliance challenges to maintain a license to operate. However, it could be shortsighted to only look at PSD2 from a compliance angle. Strategic challenges, and opportunities, may be overseen.
PSD2 should not be seen in isolation, but merely is an additional event in a trend that is already ongoing in the market. This trend (re)defines current and new ecosystems and thereby changes current and future potential stakes. Payment risk and security in the PSD2 Era

Central Bank will provide an update on the development of Regulatory Technical Standards, Guidelines and Recommendations from the European Banking Authority (EBA) and explain how is everything linked together in PSD2-era. Law Enforcement's response to the relentless growth of online fraud and transaction laundering

A special agent from Law Enforcement will present details of payment fraud, money laundering related investigations and how the fraudsters are organised as well as what law enforcement is doing to combat the threat at a national, european and international level.
CNP fraud involves the use card data to make fraudulent purchases (goods or services) online. In addition compromised card data is readily available and easy to obtain on forums, carding sites and marketplaces in the Darknet.  Money Laundering is also widely use in these networks. This presentation covers Law Enforcement's response to payment card fraud: actions and initiatives aimed at dismantling organised crime groups.
